Willie Mae Hendrix Riggins

Willie Mae Hendrix Riggins, age 95, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of Giles County, TN, a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Floyd and Ama Bell Attkison Hendrix; her husband, David Leroy Riggins; one daughter, Charlene Moore; one grandson, Jason McLain; two sisters, Viola Nelson and Mattie Kilgore; and two brothers, Earnest Hendrix and Clyde Hendrix.

She is survived by five daughters, Janie Riggins McLain Buckner (Keith) of Leoma, TN, Beverly Holley of Gadsden, AL, Bonnie Horne (Tom) of Opp, AL, Cindy Wallace (Wade) of Pulaski, TN, and Tammy Foster (Kevin) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Doris Howell of Columbia, TN and Mary Womack of Gallatin, TN; thirteen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2021, with Jeff Overton and Kevin Foster officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
