William Leonard Pennington

William Leonard Pennington, age 90, of Summertown, TN passed away Thursday, August 25, 2022, at his residence.  He was a native of Henryville, TN, retired from TDOT, and of the Methodist Faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Gilbert and Lillian Long Pennington; his wife, Pauline "Polly" Wiley Pennington; and two sisters, Arbidene Foster and Marie Marshall.

He is survived by one son, Jimmy Pennington (Theresa) of Summertown, TN; one sister, Dorothy Orton (Joel) of Pulaski, TN; two grandchildren, Tina Pennington Riley (Nolan) and Todd Pennington (Brandy), both of Summertown, TN; and three great-grandchildren, Isabella Pennington, Ansley Pennington, and Pennington Riley.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, August 28, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Monday, August 29, 2022, with Terry Potts officiating.  Interment will follow at Henryville Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
