Wendell Roberts

Wendell Roberts, age 61, of Westpoint, TN passed away Thursday, July 16, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Hohenwald, TN, a retired forklift driver from Dura Automotive, and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Thomas "Sid" and Etress Irene Lovell Roberts; one brother, Tony Roberts; and one sister, Patricia Clemmons.

He is survived by his wife, Gloria Roberts of Westpoint, TN; one son, David Roberts (Kellie) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Kayla Chapman (Johnathan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one brother, Stanley Roberts of Waynesboro, TN; five grandchildren, Keylan Roberts, Katie Roberts, Kourtnie Roberts, Camden Chapman, and Ella Kate Chapman; and special friend (mother-in-law and father-in-law), Jack and Sybil Nielson.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 4:00 PM Sunday, July 19, 2020, with Danny Huckaba and Jerry Robbins officiating.  Interment will follow at Bethlehem Cemetery in Wayne County, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
