Valentia Juanita Bailey

Valentia Juanita Bailey, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, January 29, 2021, at NHC-Maury Regional Transitional Care Center in Columbia, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Gandy Church of Christ. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mack and Ellen Tidwell Cothren; one son, Kenneth Bailey; and four brothers, Maxine Cothren, Bob Cothren, Grady Cothren, and Leon Cothren.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Lee Bailey of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Jesse Bailey of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Jessica Bailey of Huntsville, AL; six grandchildren; and two sisters, Ann Davis of Summertown, TN and Fran Rosson (John) of Lawrenceburg, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:45 PM Sunday, January 31, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Bumpas Cemetery at 3:00 PM Sunday, January 31, 2021, with Larry Murdock officiating.
