Shirley Jean Hardiman Brown

Shirley Jean Hardiman Brown, age 85, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, October 21, 2023, at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio and Kay Windsor, and a member of New Prospect Church of Christ.  She enjoyed sewing and being outdoors. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Marvin E. and Edna Edens Hardiman; her husband, Charles Smith Brown; and one brother, Herman D. Hardiman.

She is survived by one daughter, Candace Lynn Brown of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Nathan Charles Brown (Kathy) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Nancy Dickens of Guntersville, AL; three step-grandchildren; and seven step-great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home.  Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Shaw Cemetery at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 26, 2023, with Colin Leighton officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made to Kid's Place / A Child Advocacy Center.
