Rondal Clifford "Ron" Owens

Rondal Clifford "Ron" Owens, age 79, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at his residence.  He was a native of Leoma, TN and employed with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, Local 299 for 36 years where he retired as president.  He was also a Mason and a member of Oak Hill Missionary Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Harvey William and Louise Ida Vanpelt Owens; three sisters, Edna Mae Owens, Frances Jean Harper, and Ava Dean Craig; and four brothers, Harvey William Owens, Jr., Gentry Carl Owens, James Royce Owens, and Charles Ray Owens.

He is survived by his wife, Marie Owens of Lawrenceburg, TN; four children, Reverend Marie Polito (Reverend Michael Polito) of Madison Heights, MI, Rondall Ray Owens (Marianne) of Ferndale, MI, Randall Clifford Owens of Hazel Park, MI, and Roy Mullins of Tullahoma, TN; nine grandchildren, Jennie Marie Houghteling (Travis) of Clinton Township, MI, Randall Owens (Erica) of Warren, MI, Barbara Owens of St. Clair Shores, MI, Veronica Owens of Boston, MA, Krystal Owens of Warren, MI, Mitchell Owens of Ferndale, MI, Sophie Owens of Ferndale, MI, Billy Bohy of Warren, MI, and Hunter Mullins of Virginia Beach, VA; seven great-grandchildren, Macy Welser, Molly Welser, Jack Welser, Aubree Mullins, Taliyah Mullins, Eric Bohy, and Brittany Bohy; two sisters, Vickie Neal (Charles) and Brenda Owens, both of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 21, 2020, with Jonathan Price and Steven Russ officiating.  Interment will follow at Crossroads Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
