Patricia Dianne Clevenger

Patricia Dianne Clevenger of Ethridge passed away on November 24, 2023, after a 27 month long battle with cancer. She was born in San Francisco, CA on September 10, 1955. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard Herman Davis, Sr. and Mary Anne Doster, brother Richard Herman Davis, Jr., and father-in-law Juel Davis Clevenger.

Pattie graduated from Raytown South High School and Crawford W. Long of Emory University School of Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in many different areas of Nursing. For the last 21 years of her career, she was a Certified Diabetes Educator with the last 11 years being at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. 

She was a faithful member of Mars Hill Baptist Church, Lawrenceburg. Her family and friends knew her to be a talented cook. She loved reading and learning from old cookbooks, especially those that carried on the traditions of her family.  She shared her passion for these traditions with her children and grandchildren.  Other favorite pastimes on the family farm included tending to her flower beds, flower arranging, and decorating for every holiday and family gathering.  

She is survived by her husband: Stephen Davis Clevenger of Ethridge, sons: Thomas Davis Clevenger (Jessica) of Nashville, TN and Matthew Lee Clevenger (Melissa) of Gainesboro, TN, granddaughters: Tiffany Danielle Kirby of Cookeville, TN, Elizabeth Anne Clevenger of Gainesboro, TN, Delilah Mae Clevenger and Stella Joelle Clevenger of Nashville, TN, brother: David Thomas Davis (Cindy Robertson) of Snellville, GA, mother-in-law: Jacquelyn Behrbaum Clevenger of Lee’s Summit, MO, brother-in-law: R Clark Clevenger of Bangkok Thailand and two very special cousins: Thomas Leon Calvert (Jacque) of Ethridge, TN and Thomas Norman Calvert (Juanita) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and five nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM Friday, December 1, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home.  Celebration of Life will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:30 PM Friday, December 1, 2023, with Jeff Overton officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to Mars Hill Baptist Church building fund, 630 Weakley Creek Road, Lawrenceburg, TN, 38464.
