Nancy Abernathy Magee

Nancy Abernathy Magee, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, September 02, 2022, at her residence.  She was a native of Giles County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of First United Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Colston and Blanch Stephens Abernathy; her husband, Herb Magee; one daughter, Molly Magee; and nine brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two sons, Herby Magee (Martha) and David Magee (Kim), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren, Colston Magee of Chattanooga, TN, Hutton Magee, Ethan Magee, Lori Morgan (Jason), Luke Magee (Kayla), and Kayla Bradbary (Justin), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; and six great-grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a thank you to special friend, Annie Stewart; special caregivers, Alisha, Kathy, and Theresa; The Summit at Home; and Avalon Hospice. 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, September 04, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 04, 2022, with Kent Bailey officiating.  Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to A Kid’s Place / A Child Advocacy Center.
