Michael C. Kuhns

Michael C. Kuhns, age 81, of Summertown, TN passed away Sunday, July 11, 2021, at NHC-Maury Regional Transitional Care Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Anderson, IN, retired from General Motors, and attended Summertown Baptist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Horace and Mildred Green Kuhns; and one daughter, Kimberly Sue Kuhns.

He is survived by his wife, Nita Plumlee Kuhns of Summertown, TN; one son, Mitch Kuhns (Karen) of Pendleton, IN; two step-sons, Jacob Netherton (Jama) of Bunnell, FL and Caleb Boman of Memphis, TN; one brother, Thomas Kuhns (Patty) of MD; two grandchildren, Raegan LaCava and Luke Kuhns; four step-grandchildren, Isaac Netherton, Deacon Netherton, Israel Netherton, and Malachi Netherton; and two great-grandchildren, Emilya LaCava and Caesar LaCava.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021, at New Salem Church of God. Funeral services will be conducted at New Salem Church of God at 1:00 PM Saturday, July 17, 2021, with Jacob Netherton officiating.  Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
