Maxine Anderson

Maxine Anderson, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, January 24, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Pulaski Street Church of Christ.  She was also a member of the Lawrence County Senior Center. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Lawrence Revus Green; her mother, Hester Shaffer Green Durham; her husband, Gordon Leonard "Andy" Anderson; three brothers, Lewis Lance Green, Royce Flavil Green, and Coy R. Green; and one sister, Joyce Dean A.

She is survived by three children, Larry Anderson (Tracey S.) of Newark, OH, Sheree Rice (Bill) of Iron Mountain, MI, and Stephanie Sinclair (Dan) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Paul D. Anderson, Melody Blystone (Leroy), and Mel Esme; two step-grandchildren, Ally Thacker (Cody) and Liz Sinclair (Nick); two great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, January 28, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Monday, January 29, 2024, with Jacob Evans officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to Pulaski Street Church of Christ or the Lawrence County Senior Center.
