Mary June Collier Ashworth Shedd

Mary June Collier Ashworth Shedd, age 92, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, October 07, 2020 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Highland Park Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kelley Leon and Mary Lacy Pilkinton Collier; her husband, John William Shedd, Jr.; two brothers, Leon Collier and Virgil Collier; and one son, Eddie Ashworth.

She is survived by one son, John Mark Shedd (Sherri) of Mount Juliet, TN; one sister, Jo Ogg of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Daniel Shedd (Shannon) of Houston, TX, Kathryn Shedd of Lebanon, TN, and Joseph Shedd of Duluth, MN; two sisters-in-law, Barbara Collier and Hester Collier; a large number of loving nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Saturday, October 10, 2020, with Kent Collier officiating.  Interment will follow at John Lay Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Highland Park Baptist Church.
