Mark Q. Weeks

Mark Q. Weeks, age 84, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, May 09, 2020, at his home.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Crockett Hospital, and a member of New Prospect Church of Christ.  He coached baseball for over 20 years and was a well-known handyman in the community.  Mr. Weeks served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Gladys Garrett Weeks; his wife, Joan K. Weeks; two brothers, James Leroy Weeks and Charles Raymond Weeks; and one sister, Fern Delores Clark.

He is survived by four children, Cheri Harris (Kevin) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Dr. Mark T. Weeks of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeff Weeks (Jane) of Florence, AL, and Chad Weeks of Orlando, FL; nine grandchildren, Hayley Dooley Hughes (Nicky), Andrew Weeks (Courtney), Andy Bonner (Elizabeth), Tara Vizcarra (Andrew), Chelsea Weeks, Caitlin Kirby Winters (Brian), Ashton Weeks Smith, Hannah Weeks, and Cannon Butcher (Tayler); thirteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Faye Mattox (Donny).

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 10:00 AM Wednesday, May 13, 2020, with Leslie Shadrick and Jeff Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.  Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or LeBonheur Children's Hospital.
