Mark D. Adkins

Mark D. Adkins, age 65, of Ethridge, TN passed away Monday, September 06, 2021, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  He was a native of Memphis, TN, retired from Kroger, and a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Adkins, Sr. and Dolores Kessler Adkins; and one brother, Edward Adkins, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Kay Adkins of Ethridge, TN; one daughter, Kessler Thurston of Ethridge, TN; one sister, Leslie Miller of Somerville, TN; grandson, Regas Thurston; two sisters-in-law, Clare Adkins of Eads, TN and Sherry Hamilton of Ethridge, TN; honorary daughter, Mary Hamilton of Ethridge, TN; honorary son, Adam Hamilton (Shay'Le) of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, September 08, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, September 09, 2021, with Bobby Gobble officiating.  Interment will follow at Old Ethridge Cemetery in Ethridge, TN.
