Lane Albert "LA" Kobeck

Lane Albert "LA" Kobeck, age 81, of Summertown, TN passed away Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his residence. He was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired from Booker's Masonry, and of the Baptist Faith.  Mr. Kobeck raised miniature horses and was a member of the American Miniature Horse Association.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcus and Lonnie Quattlebaum Kobeck; ten siblings, Delbert Kobeck, Margie Littrell, Helen Sisson-Lantz, Betty Jo Daley, Almedia Murrell, Francis Robinson, Mart E. Kobeck, Charlie Kobeck, Patricia Vaughn-Taylor, and Brenda Kobeck; and one grandson, Adam Kobeck.

He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Diana Kobeck; one daughter, Donna Kimbler (Wayne); three sons, Darryl Kobeck (Pam), Rich Strasdin, and Gary Strasdin; seven grandchildren, Casie Baum, Cristy Green, Darryl Kobeck, Jr., Chad Kimbler, Stacy Jacobs, Rachel Strasdin, and Danielle McComb; eleven great-grandchildren, Gavin Baum,  Adam Jacobs, Allison Jacobs, Lane Green, Miles Green, Keelee Green, Chase Kimbler, Gunnar Kimbler, Wyatt Kimbler, Morgan Shephard, and Dallas Ohaekwe; and one sister, Marlene Davis.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 27, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, April 28, 2023, with Tim Cunningham officiating.  Interment will follow at Gum Springs Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
