Keifer Lewis Bradbary

Keifer Lewis Bradbary, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, October 23, 2023, at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg. He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio as well as the Lawrence County School System as a bus driver.  Keifer was born the first of six children to Lewis Aaron and Pearl Harris Bradbary on July 26, 1933, in Lawrenceburg, TN.  He was raised on a dairy farm with his two brothers and three sisters.  He graduated from Lawrence County High School and served his country honorably for two years in the United States Army.  He married the love of his life Jane Long and they spent 60 years together.  He loved his family, friends, and country.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time with his only grandson Vincent, whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his wife Jane Long Bradbary; his son, Danny Lewis Bradbary; his parents, Lewis Aaron and Pearl Harris Bradbary; brother, Harold Bradbary; and sister, Betty Holland.

He is survived by one grandson, Vincent Bradbary (Elizabeth Hamorski); one brother, John Bradbary and wife Pat of Decatur, AL; two sisters, Annette Bennett and husband Gary of Blue Ridge, VA, and Jeri Peterson of Cary, NC; several nieces and nephews.  He will be missed by family, friends, and all those who knew him.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Friday, October 27, 2023, with Grant Pavy officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN with full military honors.
