June Farris Hunter

June Farris Hunter, age 89, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, April 01, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of Hampshire, TN, a homemaker, and a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Morgan and Maude Ethel Winsett Farris; one daughter, Marsha Seay; one sister, Jean Wagoner; and one grandson, Chris Hagan.

She is survived by her husband of 70 years, W. M. "Bill" Hunter of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Mindy Clark (Douglas) of Asheville, NC; one son, Mark Hunter (Bettie Ann) of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Isaac Clark, April Mays, and DeAnna Fox; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Joy Butts of VA and Janice Ludwigsen of Greenville, SC.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 3:00 PM Saturday, April 03, 2021, with Reggie Coleman officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made to Immanuel Baptist Church.
