Josephine Bailey

Josephine Bailey, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, December 07, 2020 at Keestone Senior Community in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired cook from Pyramid Coffee Shop, and a member of Meadow View Baptist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore and Rosie Clayton Clifton; her husband of 52 years, Lonzo Bailey; and two brothers. 

She is survived by one daughter, Romona Cothren of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Larry Bailey (Janice) of Leoma, TN; one sister, Velma Belew of Lawrenceburg, TN; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 1:00 PM Thursday, December 10, 2020, with Charles Gresham officiating.
