Johnny Rex "Son" Daniel

Johnny Rex "Son" Daniel, age 79, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. He was a native of Wayne County, TN, retired truck driver, owner of Daniels' Farms, and of the Baptist Faith. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, J. P. and Bertie Berry Daniel; his wife, Judy Elaine Brewer Daniel; one sister, Yvonne Prince; and three brothers, Bobby Daniel, David Daniel, and Mike Daniel.

He is survived by four children, Greg Daniels (Debbie) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Tina Jones (Paul) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Amey Kidd (Chris) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Brandon Daniels of Wilmington, NC; eight grandchildren, Brandi Leighton, Kayla Self, Wes Daniels, Will Daniels, Chase Jones, Bradey Jones, Allie Kate Kidd, and Andrew Kidd; thirteen great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ronnie Daniel of Ethridge, TN and Dwight Daniel of Five Points, TN; and two sisters, Barbara Sue Cagle of Five Points, TN and Becky Moore of Lawrenceburg, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 11, 2024, with Mickey Brackin officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
