Johnny Glen Rice

Johnny Glen Rice, 59, died Saturday, April 24, 2021. Johnny was a kind man that enjoyed spending time with his family, watching his westerns, listening to his Old country music, and drinking beer with his family whenever he was not spending time with his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Gene Rice; his mother, Janie "Jo" Self; his wife, Kathy Rice; and two brothers, James Rice and Randy Self.  

Johnny is survived by his 4 children: Brandy Bliss (31), Keith Blehm (40), Josh Harrington (40), and Patrick Harrington (38) and 2 grandchildren Andrew Blehm (17) and Aden Bliss (11).  Though none of his children were biological he raised them and gave them everything he had. Johnny was the kind of man that would give everything he owned to help someone out.  He is also survived by three sisters, Debbie Surgeon (Robert) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Linda McKnight (Will) of Boca Raton, FL, and Karen Looney of Winter Haven, FL; two brothers, Aaron Rice and Michael Self (Lisa) both of Winter Haven, FL; several nieces and nephews.  

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.   Johnny will be laid to rest surrounded by everyone that loves him at Houser Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at 1:00 pm.
