Johnny Forsythe

Johnny Forsythe, age 73, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, May 10, 2021, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.  He was a native of Minor Hill, TN, and a member of New Prospect Church of Christ. Mr. Forsythe served his country honorably in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his father, J.C. Forsythe; and one sister, Peggy Forsythe.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Forsythe of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Johnny Wayne Forsythe (Sherry) of Westpoint, TN and Donny Forsythe (Teresa) of Ethridge, TN; his mother, Haughty Elizabeth Adams Forsythe of New Prospect, TN; eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother, Gary Forsythe (Brenda) of New Prospect, TN; and three sisters, Judy Smith of New Prospect, TN, Linda McCubbin of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Carolyn Rose Whitsitt (Jeff) of Nashville, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Sunday, May 16, 2021, with Jeff Smith and Jerry Dryden officiating. Interment will follow at Shaw Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with military honors.
