Jeanette Stumpe Brink

Jeanette Stumpe Brink, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, September 03, 2019 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of St. Florian, AL, retired secretary from H. B. Brink & Company, Inc. and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg.  She readily volunteered for the American Red Cross, the Cub Scouts, Local Blood Drives, and her church.  Mrs. Brink loved playing a variety of sports such as tennis, basketball, softball and golf.  Her hobbies also included playing bridge and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Peter and Mary Louise Haeger Stumpe; her first husband, Frank Daniel Brink; her second husband, Curzon Kay; three brothers, Joe Stumpe, Ray Stumpe and Tom Stumpe; six sisters, Mary Kathryn Stumpe, Evangeline Riddle (John), Margaret Perry (Lawrence), Clarissa Phillips (Harold), Bernadine Rosenberger, and Rose Broadfoot (Bill).

She is survived by three sons, Dan Brink (Sharon) and Tom Brink (Beth), both of Lawrenceburg, TN; Kevin Brink (Debbie) of Columbia, TN; three daughters, Beverly Aplin (Steve) of Rock Spring, GA, Jane Weeks (Jeff) of Florence, AL and Melinda Castor (Eric) of Parkville, MO; 16 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. 

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Thursday, September 05, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 7:00 PM.  Funeral mass will be conducted at Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Lawrenceburg at 10:30 AM Friday, September 06, 2019, with Father Joseph Mundakal officiating.  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Sacred Heart Catholic School, 220 Berger Street, Lawrenceburg, TN  38464.
