Janice Shaffer

Janice Shaffer, age 79, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, May 09, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired Judicial Assistant for the State of Tennessee, and a member of First United Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, William James and Rachel Allen Wilburn; her husband, Kenneth Shaffer; and one brother, Bob Wilburn.

She is survived by two sons, William Timothy Shaffer (Kristy) of Crestview, FL and Chris Shaffer (April) of Lawrenceburg, TN ; three grandchildren, Chipper Shaffer, Sarah Waldron (Kyle), and Elizabeth Shaffer; one brother, John Wilburn (Susan) of Nashville, TN; and sister-in-law, Mary Wilburn of IL.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  A private graveside service will be conducted at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN with Chad Moore officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made to Friends of Lawrence County Animals (FOLCA), P.O. Box 174, Lawrenceburg, TN 38464.
