James "Ted" McDonald

James "Ted" McDonald, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Abbeville, SC, retired from Bellsouth, and a member of Leoma Church of Christ. Mr. McDonald served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force during Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James McDonald, Sr. and Ruth Blum McDonald; and his wife, Harriett Shelton McDonald.

He is survived by one daughter, Danielle Siegel of Woodstock, GA; two sons, Matt McDonald of Atlanta, GA and Tommy McDonald of Columbia, SC; five grandchildren, Jordan McDonald, Thomas McDonald, Madison McDonald, Josiah Siegel and Kataryna McDonald; one sister, Nancy McDonald Brown (Ken) of Clemson, SC; and two nephews, Justin Brown of Clemson, SC and Bo Shelton of Lawrenceburg, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. A memorial service will be conducted at Leoma Church of Christ at 2:00 PM Sunday, March 15, 2020, with Rodney Livingston officiating.  Family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
