James "Jimmy" Thomas Underwood

James (Jimmy) Thomas Underwood of Lawrenceburg, TN, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2021, at the age of 77.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Regina and Robert Underwood, and a brother, Sammy Underwood.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Bobbie (Green) Underwood of Lawrenceburg, his daughter, Regina (Russell) Stover and his two granddaughters, McKenzie Sisk and Hannah Sisk all of Nashville.

He was an active member of the Lawrence County Lion’s Club and a member of Salem Church of Christ.  He will be forever missed and honored by a host of friends and family.

Pallbearers will be Russell Stover, Bob Gray, Bryan Green, David Sisk, Billy Green and Benji Green.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Friday, July 9, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Friday, July 9, 2021.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
