James D. McCloud

James D. McCloud, age 80, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Sunday, September 24, 2023, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.  He was a native of Lenoir City, TN, retired from Murray Ohio, a member of the DAV and Pulaski Street Church of Christ.  Mr. McCloud served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam Era.   

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleve and Dorothy Foster McCloud; and one brother, Bobby McCloud.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma McCloud of Lawrenceburg, TN; half-sister, Shirley Russell of Maryville, TN; sister-in-law, Dorothy Collins of Lawrenceburg, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee. Graveside services and inurnment will be held at Old Ethridge Cemetery with military honors at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 30, 2023, with Jacob Evans and Larry Murdock officiating. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
