Jacqueline Marie Hood Carroll

Jacqueline Marie Hood Carroll, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Monday, July 12, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, attended Florence State University and University of Tennessee Knoxville, a homemaker, and a member of Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church.  She was also a member of DAR, Home Demonstration Club, Lawrence County Library Board, and the Study Club.   

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oron Christopher and Virgie Hyatt Hood; her husband, Lloyd Earl Carroll, Sr.; two sons, Lloyd Earl Carroll, Jr. and Charles Christopher Carroll; and one sister, Virginia Hood Childress.

She is survived by three daughters, Jane Gay Carvell (Kent), Sharon Remke (Tom), and Anne Carroll; one son, Dan Carroll (Vicki), all of Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren, Alex Carvell, Rachel Carvell, Austin Remke, Paige Carroll Johnson (Eric), Carroll Marie Remke Blackwood (Orry), Amanda Remke, and Leeanna Carroll; two great-grandchildren, Etta Rose Blackwood and Jack Carroll Johnson; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church. A memorial service will be conducted at Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church at 4:00 PM Saturday, August 14, 2021, with Kevin Marston officiating.  The family suggests memorials be made to Lawrence County Public Library, Coleman Memorial United Methodist Church, or the American Diabetes Association.
