Iva Nell "Nellie" Adkins

Iva Nell "Nellie" Adkins, age 77, of Pulaski, TN passed away Thursday, September 09, 2021, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of Lawrenceburg, TN, retired clerk from Adkins Building Supply, and attended Choates Creek United Methodist Church. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Loyce Robertson, Sr.; her mother, Retha Mae McBride Grinnell; her husband, Charles Adkins; two sons, Barry Adkins and Kerry "Kurt" Adkins; one grandson, Andy Adkins; one sister, Judy Easom; and three brothers, Loyce Robertson, Jr., Jerry Robertson, and Douglas Robertson.

She is survived by one son, Frankie Adkins of Pulaski, TN; one sister, Kathy McGee of Lawrenceburg, TN; two brothers, Kenny Robertson of Anderson, AL and Ricky Grinnell of Zebulon, GA; six grandchildren, Jonathan Adkins, Chase Adkins, Matthew Adkins, Breeana Durden, Kelci Dean, and Hunter Adkins; eleven great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.  Those serving as pallbearers are Matthew Adkins, Hunter Adkins, Richard Littrell, Chase Adkins, Michael Durden, and John Morgan Dean.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, September 12, 2021.  Interment will follow at Bumpas Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
