Hugh "Bud" Clifft

Hugh "Bud" Clifft, age 78, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at his residence.  He was a native of Ethridge, TN, and retired from Timken. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Louise Brannon Clifft; and one brother, Donnie Clifft.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Juanita Clifft of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sons, Brian Clifft (Tina) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Michael Clifft (Kristie) of Loretto, TN; one daughter, Trenia Smith (Jason) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one sister, Sharon Tidwell of Lawrenceburg, TN; three brothers, Sam Clifft of Pulaski, TN, Red Clifft of Ethridge, TN, and Deacon Clifft of Ethridge, TN; three grandsons, Matney Clifft (Dru), Bryce Clifft (Maggie), and Dustin Smith; three granddaughters, Jacy Clifft, Laney Clifft, and Salena Smith; one great-grandchild, Halee Clifft; and another great-granddaughter on the way.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Thursday, March 02, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Thursday, March 02, 2023, with Sam Clifft officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.
