Frances Odeneal

Frances Odeneal, age 99, of Summertown, TN passed away Friday, October 08, 2021, at North Alabama Medical Center in Florence, AL.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and a retired teacher from the Lawrence County School System.  She was also a member of Noah's Ark Ministry, Lawrence County Retired Teachers Association, and Brace Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W. W. "Wattie" and Cora White Rhodes; and her husband, James "Wheatie" Odeneal.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Melissa and Michael Rovak of Katy, TX; two sons, James Nicholas and Vicki Odeneal of Knoxville, TN and Tony Mitchell and Connie Odeneal of Loretto, TN; seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  The family would like to extend a special thanks to all of her wonderful caregivers.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Monday, October 11, 2021, with Howard Kitter and Jason Davis officiating. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
