Ellen C. Skidmore

Ellen C. Skidmore, age 76, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, March 12, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a homemaker, former employee of Crockett Hospital and Heritage Automotive, and a member of Manchester Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Skidmore served her country honorably in the U.S. Army.

She was preceded in death by her father, David Clark; mother, Hazel Walker Clark Eason; and husband, Gerald Skidmore.

She is survived by two daughters, Susan Smith (Greg) and Rhonda Sutliff both of Lawrenceburg, TN; and one grandson, Timothy Weatherspoon (Heidi) of Charlotte, NC.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 13, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
