Edna C. Fields

Edna C. Fields, age 88, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, March 11, 2021, at NHC Healthcare of Scott in Lawrenceburg, TN.  She was a native of Duck Hill, MS, retired Branch Manager from SunTrust Bank, and a member of Salem Church of Christ. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur William and Ora Lorene Williams Ayers; and five sisters, Vivian Matthews, Jean Pennington, Dorothy Hayes, Shirley Bishop, and Barbara Sue Ayers.

She is survived by her husband, James Fields of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Jennifer Brazier of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Steven Fields of Nashville, TN; two grandsons, Clint Brazier of Lawrenceburg, TN and Jason Brazier of Chattanooga, TN; two brothers, Bill Ayers of Tuscumbia, AL and Jim Ayers of Lawrenceburg, TN; four sisters, Elizabeth Killen of Lawrenceburg, TN, Clara Woodroof of Nolensville, TN, Charlotte Orton of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Billie Kerr of Nashville, TN; five great-grandchildren, Reily Brazier, Jenna Brazier, Emily Brazier, Judah Brazier, and Elliot Brazier.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, March 13, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Sunday, March 14, 2021, with Keith Barnett and Jim Creech officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Tennessee Children's Home.
