Dottie Springer

Dottie Springer, age 68, of Lebanon, TN passed away Monday, September 05, 2022, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and a retired teacher from Wilson County School System.  Dottie taught Language Arts, Speech Communications, and Theater at Mt. Juliet High School in Mt. Juliet, TN for over 20 years, retiring in 2019.  She was a fiercely loyal friend and lover of all animals. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Sanford and Mable Wright Springer.

She is survived by many loving family and friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  A memorial service will be held at Mount Juliet High School, 1874 Golden Bear Gateway, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Saturday, September 17, 2022.  Graveside services and inurnment will be conducted at Richardson Chapel Cemetery at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 18, 2022, with Derek Elwell officiating.  Dottie will be laid to rest beside her beloved father, Sanford in Lexington, AL.
