Donald R. Sweeton

Donald R. Sweeton, age 71, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, at home. He was a native of Nashville, TN, retired owner of DASCO, Inc.; and of the Church of Christ Faith.  He enjoyed riding motorcycles and boat racing.  Don loved his family dearly and was very involved in their lives. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Edward and Norma Farlow Sweeton; and one sister, Vickie Shaver.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Evans Sweeton of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Charles Sweeton (Hannah) of Lawrenceburg, TN; two daughters, Whitney Hood (Jonathan) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Lindsay Maxwell (Chris) of Middleton, TN; four grandchildren, Anna Claire Hood, Taylor Maxwell, Landon Maxwell, and Sutton Sweeton; one brother, Eddie Joe Sweeton; and one nephew, Blake Shaver.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, July 01, 2023, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 02, 2023, with Jacob Evans officiating.  Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to the Mayo Clinic or the charity of your choice.
