Donald C. Russell

Donald C. Russell, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired truck driver for Lawrence Farmers Co-op, a member of BPO Elks Lodge #2206 and of the Christian Faith.  Mr. Russell served his country honorably in the U.S. Air Force.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hagan and Lillie Mae Hood Russell; and three brothers, James Russell, Wilton Russell, and Hagan Russell, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Carol Frances Russell of Lawrenceburg, TN; one daughter, Jean McAnally (Larry) of Lawrenceburg, TN; one son, Troy Don Russell (DeAnna) of Burns, TN; five grandchildren, Amanda Gist (Ronald), Brandon Russell (Jerrica), Angela Gobble (Blake), Jamey Russell (Cayce), and Anna Ezell (Jarred); twelve great-grandchildren; one sister, Sarah Simbeck of Lawrenceburg, TN; and one brother, Robert Russell (Alice) of McMinnville, TN.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  Private graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
