David Broadfoot

David Broadfoot, age 61, of Loretto, Tennessee passed away Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN.  He was a native of Bristol, England and was an architectural draftsman.  Woodworking, building furniture and carving, was a favorite hobby.  He also loved listening to jazz, playing the saxophone and arranging music. He was a founding member of the Middle Tennessee Community Band, a long-time member of the Shoals Concert Band, and former member of the Nashville Community Concert Band.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Broadfoot.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kim Broadfoot; son Eoin Broadfoot; his mother Mary Broadfoot of Bristol, England; sister Kay Horton of Bristol, England; sister Susan Taylor of Burton upon Trent, England; niece Louise; nephews Matt, Chris, and great-nephew Jack.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, TN.  In lieu of flowers,  donations may be made to either the Summertown High School Band, the Middle Tennessee Community Band, or the Shoals Concert Band which he was an avid supporter of.
