Clara Mae Chambers

Clara Mae Chambers, age 81, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, April 23, 2021, at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Murray Ohio and Salant & Salant, and of the Baptist Faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Ada Steadman Price; her husband, John Rippey Chambers; infant daughter, Joanna Chambers; one grandson, Micheal Neal Giles; and one sister, Carlene Kelton.

She is survived by two daughters, Janice Robinson (David) of Lawrenceburg, TN and Susie Pilkinton of Lawrenceburg, TN; three sons, Bo Chambers (Cathy) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jim Chambers (Susan) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and James Chambers (Lisa) of Leoma, TN; two sisters, Cora Lee Hardiman of Leoma, TN and Christine Hall of Loretto, TN; two brothers, Coy Price and Walter Price, both of Leoma, TN; twelve grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 25, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Monday, April 26, 2021, with Thomas Butler and Jessie Littrell officiating.  Interment will follow at Mimosa Cemetery in Lawrenceburg, TN.
