Bill Turner

Bill Turner, age 68, of Loretto, TN passed away Wednesday, January 03, 2024, at Ascension Saint Thomas Hospital West in Nashville, TN.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, former employee of Murray Ohio and Schwan's Consumer Brands, a truck driver for Southern Craft Mfg., and a member of Meadow View Baptist Church.  Bill enjoyed hunting, watching UT football , and he loved his grandkids. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Susie Landtroop Turner; five brothers, Kent Turner, Stormy Turner, James Turner, Mack Turner, and E. H. Ells; and one sister, Kathy Turner.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Benita Turner of Loretto, TN; three sons, Micah Turner (Tiffany) of Loretto, TN, Jesse Turner (Angela) of Leoma, TN, and Eric Beuerlein of Ann Arbor, MI; one daughter, Jill Gamble (Todd) of Five Points, TN; six grandchildren, Elizabeth Turner, Layla McCain (Landon), Eli Turner, Tate Gamble, Knox Turner, and Cruz Turner; one brother, Hershel Turner (Donna) of Loretto, TN; two sisters, Elizabeth Brewer of Loretto, TN, and Linda Hill (Joel) of Loretto, TN; a host of nieces and nephews.  Those serving as pallbearers are Micah Turner, Jesse Turner, Eli Turner, Todd Gamble, Tate Gamble, Landon McCain, and Eric Beuerlein.  Honorary pallbearers will be his nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM Saturday, January 06, 2024, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 12:00 PM Saturday, January 06, 2024, with Rodney Robinson and Jeff Jacob officiating.  Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Loretto, TN.  The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
