Obituary

Betty Anne Martin, age 68, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, and retired from Murray Ohio. 

She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph A. Hunt, Sr.; her husband, Douglas Martin; one son, Joel Martin; three daughters, Carol Martin, Caron Simbeck, and Betty Lynn Martin; one brother, Jerry Hunt; and one sister, Tammy Hunt.

She is survived by one daughter, Sue Cummings (Clint) of Olivehill, TN; her mother, Louottie Matlock Hunt of Summertown, TN; three brothers, Joseph Hunt, Jr., Summertown, TN, Michael Hunt of Lynnville, TN, and Bobby Hunt of Columbia, TN; four sisters, Debbie Dollar of Lawrenceburg, TN, Catherine Pugh of Ethridge, TN, Delois Leighton of Whitehouse, TN, and Linda Pierce of Lawrenceburg, TN; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, January 22, 2022, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Sunday, January 23, 2022, with Jimmy Turnbow officiating.  Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
