Beadie Louise Akins

Beadie Louise Akins, age 98, of Ethridge, TN passed away Saturday, August 15, 2020.  She was a native of Appleton, TN, retired from Salant & Salant, and a member of Ethridge First Baptist Church where she taught Junior Sunday School for 40 years. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Freeman Clark and Ora Naomi Jenkins Akins; and two sisters, Jewel Winters and Jo Booth.

She is survived by one sister, Faye Love of Rogersville, AL; two nieces, Barbara Winters Boyett (Leroy) of Meridianville, AL and Valerie Yancey of Franklin, TN; four nephews, Kenneth Winters, Sr. (Barbara) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Jeffrey Love (Mary) of Madison, AL, Mike Love (Daphne) of Rogersville, AL, and Doug Booth (Beth) of Huntsville, AL; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at Neal Funeral Home.  Graveside services and interment will be conducted at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM Wednesday, August 19, 2020, with Ken Winters, Mike Love, and Valerie Yancey officiating.  Family suggests memorials be made to Ethridge First Baptist Church.
