Arthur Jackson "Jack" Bishop

Arthur Jackson "Jack" Bishop, age 86, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021, at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN.  He was a native of Giles County, TN, retired parts manager from Heritage Automotive, and a member of Salem Church of Christ. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph J. and Bessie Finley Bishop; his wife, Shirley Ayers Bishop; four sisters, Lillie Mae Artman, Frances Nix, Jean Fisher, and Sarah Ann Bishop; and one brother, Harold "Buck" Bishop.

He is survived by one sister, Barbara Wray of Pulaski, TN; one brother, Bob Bishop of Columbia, TN; several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at Neal Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Tuesday, January 26, 2021, with Keith Barnett and Jason Brazier officiating. Interment will follow at Lawrence County Memorial Gardens in Lawrenceburg, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
