William "Hub" Harris

William "Hub" Harris, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at his residence.  He was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the Lawrence County Highway Department, retired farmer, and a member of Canaan Freewill Baptist Church.  Mr. Harris served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, John McKenley and Sarah Jane Herchenhahn Harris; his wife, Bessie Louise Crews Harris; two brothers; and three sisters.

He is survived by two sons, William Brent Harris (Kris) and Charles H. Harris (Tina) both of Lawrenceburg, TN; three grandchildren, Kevin Harris and Wendy Harris both of Lawrenceburg, TN and Blair Boothe of Maury County, TN; four great-grandchildren, Gavin Clemmons, Kadence Gray, Maddilyn Harris, and Bailee Chandler; one brother, Gale Harris of Lawrenceburg, TN; two sisters, Naomi Goodrich of Greer, SC and Marion Crews of Lawrenceburg, TN;  two special friends, Kayla Bivens and Paige Perry; and a host of friends.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020, at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, January 25, 2020, with Danny Clark and David Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Fish Trapp Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.
