Vernie Sue Whitehead, age 65, of Mount Pleasant, TN passed away Wednesday, September 05, 2018 at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvis Richard and Josephine Hunt Whitehead; and one sister, Melba Jean Spears.

She is survived by

Hollis Ray Whitehead (Judy), Lawrenceburg, TN

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Saturday, September 08, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 1:00 PM Sunday, September 09, 2018.  Interment will follow at Himes Cemetery in Lewis County, TN.
