Vella B. Gillespie

Vella B. Gillespie, age 80, of Five Points, TN passed away Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at her residence. She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from the Lawrence County Circuit Court Clerk Office, owner and operator of Gillespie Garbage Service, and a member of Five Points Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Beatrice Jenkins Ezell; her husband, Glynn Gillespie; one great-granddaughter, Lillian Gillespie; one brother, Clayton Ezell; and two sisters, Kerene Box and Mina Belle Gillespie. 

She is survived by

Several Nieces and Nephews

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, November 16, 2018 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Saturday, November 17, 2018, with Terrell Lee and Stephanie Hunt officiating.  Interment will follow at Freeman-Blooming Grove Cemetery in Five Points, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
