Rosie Elizabeth Lemay Motley

Rosie Elizabeth Lemay Motley, age 91, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, July 12, 2019 at NHC Healthcare of Lawrenceburg.  She was a native of Summertown, TN, a homemaker, and of the Baptist Faith. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Susie Matlock; her first husband, Louis Lemay; her second husband, Earnest Brown; one daughter, Rennie Partain; one granddaughter, Rosie Vanessa Meadors; one sister, Margie Ivelean Milliken; and one brother, Clarence Matlock.

She is survived by three sons, Leonard Matlock (J.L.) of Summertown, TN, Gene Matlock (Fay) of Antioch, IL, and Clifford Lemay (Regina) of Summertown, TN; four daughters, Rosie Whitehead (Terry) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Edith Hill (James) of Lawrenceburg, TN, Sue Luna (Edd) of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Karen Koons (Don) of Summertown, TN; two sisters, Louottie Hunt of Summertown, TN and Silvya Lawson of Alabama; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Those serving as pallbearers, Jansen McLain, Devin Whitehead, Robbie Beckman, Kevin Matlock, Junior Rose, Dewayne Whitehead, Junior Luna, and Gene Luna

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Sunday, July 14, 2019, with W. L. Wallace and Thomas Mattox officiating.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Garden Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
