Richard Leon Stewart

Richard Leon Stewart age 64 of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away on September 12, 2018 at his residence in Lawrenceburg, TN.
 
Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Ave., Lawrenceburg, TN is in charge of the arrangements.  The family will receive friends between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM Sunday, September 16, 2018 and between 10:00 AM and 11:00 AM Monday, September 17, 2018. There will be a service immediately following the Monday visitation from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM.

The Military Burial Service will be held Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Middle Tennessee Veterans Cemetery in Nashville, TN at 10:00 AM.

Rick was a loving husband, father and stepfather.  He loved to joke, play his guitar and spend time with his family.  Rick was a decorated army veteran and guarded the wall in Germany during the Cold War.  He also spent time in Iraq during the Global War on Terror as a civilian contractor.

He was a graduate of Columbia State Community College and attended Middle Tennessee State University.

Survivors include his wife Pat, two sons, Richard Jr. and Michael, two daughters, Jennifer and Tonya, stepdaughters Bonnie, Connie and Daphne and stepson Willie; his mother Patricia Selle, two sisters, Patricia and Cheryl and one brother, Chris.

He was preceded in death by his father Joe Dean Stewart and brother Curtis Selle.
