Peggy Sue Johnson

Peggy Sue Johnson, age 82, of Ethridge, TN passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019 at Saint Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, TN.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, retired from Crockett Hospital, and a member of Unity Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Lazy 8's Square Dance Club and The Red Hat Society. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Talmadge and Blanche Yarber Coleman; her first husband, Billy Ray Chandler; one brother, Travis Coleman; and one sister, Azzilee Scott.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Johnson of Ethridge, TN; two sons, Michael Chandler of Columbia, TN and Anthony Ray Chandler of Ethridge, TN; two step-sons, Kenneth Wayne Johnson of Hermitage, TN and Gary Allen Johnson of Summertown, TN; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 18, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, July 19, 2019, with Brandon Smith officiating.  Interment will follow at Leoma Cemetery in Leoma, TN.  Family suggests memorials be made to Unity Baptist Church.
