Peggy Jean Hickman Attkisson, age 75, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Friday, May 12, 2017 at Maury Regional Medical Center in Columbia, TN. She was a native of Giles County, TN, retired from Dicksons Florist, and a member of Davy Crockett Good Sams Camping Club and Mars Hill Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin and Ester Lee Barnickle Hickman; her husband, T.C. Attkisson; one brother, Robbie Clark; and one sister Dorothy Dickey.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 3:00 PM Monday, May 15, 2017, with Phillip Jaco officiating.  Interment will follow at Chapel Grove Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN.
