Mildred Imogene Jester

Mildred Imogene Jester, age 90, of Lawrenceburg, TN passed away Saturday, April 20, 2019 at her residence.  She was a native of Lawrence County, TN, a 1946 graduate of Summertown High School where she served as class treasurer, retired from La-Z-Boy in Monroe, MI and a member of First Street Church of Christ.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, J. B. and Lera Gobell McCrory; her husband, Russell "Curly" Jester, three brothers, Pete McCrory, Paul McCrory and James Ray "Buddy" McCrory; two sisters, Catherine Moore and Ruby Mae Thompson; and two nieces, Linda Patterson Fly and Betty Lynn McCrory Gibson.

She is survived by nephews, Jeffrey McCrory (Jo) of Sevierville, TN, Larry McCrory (Mary) of Summertown, TN, and Paul Wayne Thompson (Tina) of Memphis, TN; nieces, Kathy McCrory Essex of Toledo, OH and Beth Fly Pinkerton of Nashville, TN; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 11:00 AM Friday, April 26, 2019, with Ben May officiating.  Interment will follow at Summertown Cemetery in Summertown, TN.
