Matt was a true leader at Modine in Lawrenceburg and in Trenton. We enjoyed several conversations about the Trenton facility during his short stay in Missouri. We were part of the Modine team for several years. I recall how excited he was when his daughter was born and how proud he was of all his family.

We are sorry to hear about Mr Shelton passing away. It’s difficult to give up those whom we love. It’s comforting to know what Jehovah God promises at Revelation 21:4 when someday no one on earth will get sick and die. We extend our condolences to all the family.

Teisha my heart is breaking for you and your children. So sorry to hear about your loss. Matt and I were classmates since kindergarten at Miss Ann's. He always had a great sense of humor and warm smile. So happy I got to see him at the reunion 3 years ago. May the happy memories you had together somehow warm your heart in the coming days.

I am so very broken hearted...Words that usually come so easily to me cannot be found by my head. Yet my heart feels such deep hurt and pain that it feels almost unbearable to me. I feel like this unrealistic and its all a dream and soon I'll wake up and it will all be gone. Matt was SO dear to me and so young! Too young to die! It should be me or someone...ANYONE older! But not Matt. I wish so badly that I could finish conversations he & I shared. But mostly, I wish I could have helped him carry the heavy load he seemed to carry. And to heal his hurts if I could have. I loved him dearly and will miss him with ALL my heart for as long as I live. And then, when it's my
time to go, I will be so happy to see his smiling face looking down at me with his hand held out welcoming me to me forever home in heaven! And I'm sure he'll have Aunt Pat with him too as I know he's comforting her now! The thought of that makes me smile! To Tisha, the boys and Sarah -know that you are very loved and thought of at this very dark and sad time. Remember and talk about the good times and keep them close in your heart. Keep them for your future and let them help to heal your sad hearts. I love you all and am here for you if you ever need me. I'm so sorry for this great loss we all feel so deeply. I worked with Matt at Trenton for the past several months. Matt was the breath of fresh air the plant needed. I will miss his cleaver conversation and leadership. You and the whole family are in my thoughts and prayers. I would like to have attended the service but will not be able to make it.
