Marvin H. Wright, age 85, of Summertown, TN passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Southern TN Regional Health System in Lawrenceburg, TN. He was a native of Burke County, NC, a retired glazer, a Master Mason, York Rite 9th Degree Templar, and a member of Mimosa Lodge #542.  Mr. Wright served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dock Marvin and Mary Jane Hipps Wright; his wife, Lillian Rebecca Foster Wright; three brothers and five sisters.

Arrangements are being handled by Neal Funeral Home, 231 N. Military Avenue, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, May 12, 2017 at Neal Funeral Home.  Funeral services will be conducted at Neal Funeral Home at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 13, 2017, with Thomas Mattox officiating, with a masonic service to follow.  Interment will follow at Pleasant Garden Cemetery in Lawrence County, TN with full military honors.  Family suggests memorials be made to Shriners Hospital for Children.
